Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Marina team and take responsibility for: assessing marina performance, making recommendations on optimization of business processes through use of automation, thoughtful analysis and researching best practices, procedures updates, preparing and maintaining marina financial business plan and monthly reporting.

He/she reports to Marina Director, but also works with other team members, including close interaction with other departments, such as IT, Finance and Investment Management.

Position Location: Tivat, Montenegro

Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday

Position reports to: Marina Director

YOUR DAILY TASKS WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts;
  • Creating informative and actionable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement;
  • Conducting insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues;
  • Conducting and coordinating financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning;
  • Developing and maintaining budgets and financial plans for the department based on current financial information, research, and historical data;
  • Preparing quantitative and qualitative variance reports of Budgets Vs Actuals; Investigating variances;
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions;
  • Working with IT department towards improvements in all software solutions, with a particular focus on Salesforce;
  • Marina procedures improvement and updates;
  • Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and posted, and all customer and contractual data in line with reporting requirements.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WITH:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar fields of study, or relevant experience;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office and especially Excel;
  • Financial modelling skills;
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial standards (IFRS);
  • Fluency in English and local language, both spoken and written;
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is an advantage;
  • Broad ERP system knowledge is an advantage, especially Salesforce;
  • Experience in a customer service focused business is an advantage;
  • Results oriented thinking, with strong attention to structure and details.
